Who Needs a Lymph Cleanse?

Everyone needs to have his or her lymph system cleansed from all the wastes that have built up over a lifetime. Cleansing this important system of the body helps to cleanse every organ and system you have. The Lymph Cleansing has far-reaching health effects because the lymph system reaches into every part of the body.

What Is the Lymph System?

When you eat food, your body digests that food for its nutrients, and then sends those nutrients to every living cell in your body. As the cells process these nutrients some waste is created. The waste from each cell must be removed or the body will "drown" in its own waste.

The lymph system, located throughout your body, provides the "highway" by which this waste is transported from the cells, then to the blood, and then to the colon and kidneys. The lymph system acts as a miniature sewer system.

Why Does the Lymph System Need Cleansing?

The lymph system is more than a transportation system for the lymphatic fluids. It also works as a filter, removing bacteria, microorganisms, dead cells, and other unwanted substances. Unfortunately, our bodies have an abundance of these unwelcome substances which can block the lymph nodes, decreasing the body's ability to resist disease.

Whenever the lymph system is overwhelmed by these toxic materials, or whenever the lymphatic filters become clogged (especially during illness) the system stores toxic mucous.

The lymph system is similar to the pipes that carry waste in a house. Over time, wastes build up on the insides of the pipe walls and start to clog the system. The same thing happens in the lymph system. Toxic mucous and other wastes build up in the lymph system and hinder its function.

Because the lymph system is the foundation of the immune system, it is vital that its function not be hindered by useless wastes that can be naturally flushed out. There is a domino effect of good health for the entire body if this system is kept clean and healthy. Otherwise chronic illness of various types can result.

How Can the Lymph System Be Cleansed?

Fortunately, the lymph system can be stimulated to release its wastes in a natural, gentle way, and at the same time to replace its own lymphatic fluids. The best results are achieved after a full Lymph cleanse

Diet and Nutrition

Food that we consume can sometimes help in the smooth flow and functioning of the lymph or hamper the flow of lymph in the human body. In order to cleanse the lymph system, one should avoid food that contain chemicals, artificial flavoring agents, artificial colors, preservatives, and stabilizing agents; these are found in processed food to increase shelf life. The more one consumes food that is not fresh, the more one will congest or block the lymphatic fluid from flowing freely in the human lymphatic system.

It is also advisable to stay away from food that is not easy to digest, and this includes food containing too much fat, animal protein, sugars and carbohydrates. Food that is sweet to taste and is white, food produced using white flour, such as white bread, white pasta, and white rice consume a lot of energy to digest, energy which could have helped clean up the lymphatic system. These food items also wreak havoc with one's blood sugar levels.

As you can see, lymphatic cleansing is not just about what we can do, but also about what we should not do, or, in this case, what we should not eat.

In addition to the above, one must try and drink up to 2 liters of water every day. If possible, one could drink warm water, for this can help dissolve certain stubborn waste products accumulated across various body parts. Indeed, drinking a lot of water is probably the most basic form of bodily and lymphatic detox.

Besides one's diet and nutrition, there are several other lymphatic cleansing and detoxification methods.

Exercise

This is the best form of detoxification as far as the lymphatic system is concerned. The lymphatic system is responsible for fighting infections and it is important to keep the lymphatic system healthy at all times. Exercise helps keep the movement of lymphatic fluid at its maximum and ensures a lot of toxins are flushed out by sweating. Exercise also improves blood circulation, strengthens the heart and oxygenates cells. Exercise is indeed the best and most natural form of lymphatic cleansing.

HOME LYMPH FLUSH – what will you need?

6-8 oranges
2 grapefruits
1 lemon
Small piece of ginger (peeled)
2 cloves garlic
2 lbs pine apple (peeled)
2 cups purified or spring water
2 table spoons Glauber’s salt

Method: extract the juice from the oranges, grapefruits and lemon – pour into a blender and add peeled pineapple, garlic and ginger – blend until smooth (do not strain mixture) and place in your refrigerator (make in the morning)

The night before I do the flush, just before bed time (recommend that you get to bed by 9:00 p.m.) I mixed a table spoon of the Glauber’s salt (Sodium Sulphate) with 8 oz of purified or spring water (do not use tap water) and drank that, with another glass of water right after. The purpose of this saline solution is not primarily to empty the bowels, which however, it will do anyway, but rather to draw into the intestines from every part of the body such toxic matter or body waste as may be present, and to eliminate it through the bowels.

First thing in the next morning, upon arising, I drank a hot cup of Red Clover Tea and a glass of water, then half hour after I make the juice mixture (pineapple/orange/grapefruit/ginger/garlic mixture) and commenced drinking it. This should have an alkaline reaction on our system. I then drank one glass every hour until the mixture was finished – in between the mixture I drank half to one glass of purified or spring water.

We do not eat anything all day, although if very hungry toward the evening, we may take some oranges or grapefruit or their juices, or some celery juice.

Probiotics

This leads us to the next step: replacing the decimated pathogenic microbes with desirable lactobacilli. This must be done in a massive dose 30-60 minutes after each flush; otherwise the unwanted microbes may grow back to full strength after the next meal. Commonly probiotics contain acidophilus and bifidobacteria in addition to other lactobacteria.

These bacterial cultures are available from health food shops as powders or capsules that should be refrigerated.

It is recommended that before going to bed that night, you take a high enema in the knee chest position, using two quarts of purified water slightly cooler than tepid, into which the juice of one or two lemons has been added. The purpose of this enema is to remove from the folds of the colon and bowels any waste matter which may have remained lodged there and which might otherwise be absorbed into the system during sleep.
