STRINGED BEANS WITH ALMONDS OR CASHEW NUTS

Ingredients:


2 cups string beans
½ cup raw almonds or cashew nuts (sock overnight and drain)
2 Tbs. spring water
Sea salt to taste
1 small onion chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. basil leaves
1 tsp. dried or fresh parsley leaves
1 sprig of celery minced or a dash of celery salt

Method:

Clean and wash string beans, cut into bite sized pieces, remove the skin from the almonds and cut each into 3 or three pieces. Add water to a hot pan, mix in the onions and garlic and let stir fry for a minute, add in the string beans and the nuts, then add all other dry ingredients. Add a small amount of water or coconut milk and let cook for 2 minutes.
