Silken tofu has a creamy, custard-like texture that makes it perfect substitute for standard mayonnaise. Use organic tofu mayonnaise instead of mayonnaise in whole grain sandwiches and green vegetable salads, or even as a dip for enjoying sliced cucumber, carrot, beet, sweet pepper or tomato. Organic tofu is an excellent source of protein, B-vitamins and is naturally low in sodium.

This recipe yields about 2 cups of tofu mayonnaise.


• 1 pkg Superior Organic Silken Tube Tofu (240g)
• 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 small onion
• 1/8 tsp tumeric
• 1 tsp honey or sugar (optional)
• 1/8 tsp cayenne (optional)
• 2 Tbsp. olive oil
• ¼ tsp. sea Salt
• ¼ tsp. herbs: dill, basil, parsley, oregano


Blend ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth & creamy. Salt and lemon juice to taste. Ready to serve with your favourite vegetable salad, whole grain pasta or bread. Use as a dairy-free sandwich spread or instead of commercial mayonnaise to make tasty and healthy treats for children.
Can also be used to make other dressings/dips.
Store unused portions in a covered container/jar and refrigerate.
